Conservation Pledge
I give my pledge as an American to save and faithfully defend from waste the natural resource of my country:
its air, soils, and minerals; its forests, waters, and wildlife.
...now widely used by garden clubs, this pledge originally
appeared in the Boy Scout Handbook of 1948.

Walkabout Tours
What a delightful way to spend a summer morning or afternoon. Come experience the gardens of fellow club members who are willing to share the beauty and history of their property. This year eight distinctively different gardens are scheduled for touring.
Walkabouts are free and open for all Sharon Garden Club members and their guests. No rsvp necessary for these informal gatherings - see mature gardens, new plantings and "works in progress". This is a fun and exciting way to learn, share your gardening philosophy, and have some discussions about one of the things we love most...
Remember - this is a rain or shine event. Hope to see you all there!
